  • 1ºday Faro -Tavira

    First day of this amazing trip, get to now the capital of Algarve, follow the Ria formosa until the board with spain.
    Easy ride of 42km will take us to Tavira, pass on the most typical fishing villages, typical architecture, beautiful landscapes.
    The city centre with remains of castle walls, churches and bridges from different eras.

  • 2ºday Tavira-V.r.s.Antonio

    After from a good breakfast we continue our journey direction Vila Real Santo Antonio, last city before Spain. On the way finding Orange platantion and big sandy beach.
    We say good bye to Ria formosa with magnificent sight on half of our trip of 50kms, but before a visit to castel of Castro Marin and natural reserve.
    Arriving to Vila Real Santo Antonio capital of canned fish tuna in Portugal ,city full of history from rational architecture to there light house .

  • 3ºday V.r.s.Antonio to Alcoutim

    With our eyes full sea view, is time to follow the course of the river.
    Maybe the harder day of the tour going up on the Gaudiana river, discover the barrocal Algarvio, until last town of Algarve before Alentejo -ALCOUTIM.
    With our eyes into Spain village on other side of the river, Alcoutim offer piece and quiet, full of history from Roman and islamic period.

  • 4ºday Alcoutim to Mértola

    With a good night sleep, its a day to visit Guadiana valley, continue on the river side, direction of Mértola, Alentejo region.
    Hilly day takes as into this village, full of white houses, rocky roads.
    The pine trees plantation takes us to Mertola, with the castle on our eyes, capital of the hunting, this village bread old times, maze of small streets and steps that take us to the river.
    Surrounding area of the castle you have the museum where we can see all the vestiges of the old ocuppacions.
    Good food and peacefull place everywhere.

  • 5ºday Mertola to Minas Sao domingos

    This day we visit the area ,biking until ,Pomarao and them follow to north using the Minerios route used on XIX Century to bring Mineral from the mine until the river Port. 
    On bike crossing all the native nature and lakes that bring colour to the landscape . 
    Traces of ore are easilly visible on the area ,the easy route take us to Minas Sao domingos were you can see old exploration ,and occupation traits of english owners of the mine .
    Minas São domingos have the peacefull river beach ,perfect place to finish our journey.
